LGBTIQA+ students are at increased risk of isolation and mental health challenges when they feel their sexuality and gender identity is stigmatised or unwelcome. STARTTS LGBTIA+ Project Officers together with School Liaison Officers can support schools to become more welcoming places for LGBTIQA+ learners.
